The grand contradiction of boycotting DU. It is like a catch-22.
- If you take DU seriously enough that you organize a boycott, then you take it very very seriously.
- If you take DU very very seriously, you will have trouble boycotting.

We have just seen this. Here I have laid down the law.

3. I think that the boycott is another DU myth.
LOL! It appears that some kind of hysteria took hold of GD-P in the past two days, and now rumors are flying about Lists and Boycotts and Pink Elephants and Spotted Gators and who knows what else.

7. No, it's not. The people who are doing it actually posted about it quite extensively.
I doubt it's more than a very small percentage of Hillary supporters, but it does exist. Not like that "mass ignore list" that is ostensibly circulating amongst Obama supporters.

9. How many posters? I remember those threads about the other site.
It looked like there were maybe ten posters involved, at most. And some of them were fake.

So, maybe half a dozen people decide to boycott DU out of what, the tens of thousands who read and post here? That's a boycott? Excuse me while I

ROTFL

11. Indeed it was pathetic.
However 'the list' itself pretty much matched up both in size and names with those who have since departed, and those same folks were pretty much the same ones who were posting idiotic smear after smear after smear, often tag teaming with recs and repeats. I understand why people found the posting of the list obnoxious, but the fact remains that there really is an organized hillary clique who coordinated their posts here, went on strike (whatever that means, pretty stupid if you ask me) and are going to come back 'in force' (all ten of them) to slay us nasty ombamatron cultists with their mighty spam.

GDP has actually noticably calmed down since they left.

10. Uh no - they all posted their Maya Angelou poem and went away.
Ain't no myth. Several even made Big Dramatic Announcements. Real it is padawan.

after making Big Dramatic Exits.

But They'll Be Back!

This is so exciting!
