1. Another Push poll by the Obambots.
Strange how Howard Dean gave a waiver to New Hampshire though.

2. I'm a bot? I had no idea! Also, do you know anything about history?
Iowa and New Hampshire were given early slots because they are traditionally the first two states to hold contests for the Presidential primary.

I'm not saying that's a good thing-- but NH played by the rules.

9. They asked permission to move theirs up since Florida and Michigan had broken the rules

3. they didnt cheat, they wanted to be "more important" and were punished by the DNC
To repeal the punishment is a bad idea. If you tell a child that if they break a rule they will receive a punishment and you refuse to punish, the kid will walk all over you. If the state tells you that if you break the law you will go to jail but refused to prosecute, the criminals would run rampant. Florida and Michigan were warned and the punishment must be carried out. If not, which states will go ahead of their place next time?

4. I don't understand why the other 48
States didn't break the rules as well. If the whole purpose was to garner money from the Campaigns and importance by their earlier vote, I think my state should get in on the act too. Next time I want my State's Primary in November!

6. Cheat is the wrong word.
Edited on Mon Mar-24-08 06:29 PM by Warren Stupidity
They knew what the rules were a deliberately broke them after being warned of the consequences. They broke the rules. I find it ironic that having broken the rules in an attempt to have a disproportionate say at the start of the campaign, they now would like the rules changed so that they can have a disproportionate say at the end of the campaign.

Having a few small states go first actually makes sense.
