Rasmussen: Even after his worst week, Hillary still unable to take lead
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Likely Democratic Primary Voters evenly divided the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination. Nationally, Barack Obama now holds a statistically insignificant one-point advantage over Hillary Clinton, 45% to 44%.

Thats a pretty strong indictment on her campaign.

2. Nice spin. I notice another post saying that even after his speech...
Obama still hasn't recovered.

Oh, and Gallop does have her ahead now.

3. He's still leading, what does he have to recover from?
He's leading in everything.

6. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage. Ergo he is down big from a 7 point lead
Daily tracking results are collected via nightly telephone surveys and reported on a four-day rolling average basis. The general election sample is currently based upon interviews with 1,600 Likely Voters. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence

7. Or he could only be down three points. The MOE works both ways

10. Not in some polls that have Hillary ahead... like Gallop...
Also, isn't Rasmussen a GOP slanted pollster?

4. Yeah, but we don't support any poll that shows Hillary ahead around here.

5. Don't you ever get sick of playing the "poor wittle Hillary" card?
If you hate that much, go somewhere else. I don't know what else to tell you.

8. All I read around here is the "poor wittle Obama" card and how the media is picking on him.

9. He had a bad week, and some in the media did harp on. it. Whats more concerning is that you support
a democratic candidate getting unfairly whipped by the media. Hypocrite much?

11. I posted this earlier today
Gallup Tracking 03/18 - 03/20
45/47 Clinton +2.0

Rasmussen Tracking 03/17 - 03/20
45/44 Obama +1.0

CBS News 03/15 - 03/18
46/43 Obama +3.0

CNN 03/14 - 03/16
52/45 Obama +7.0

USA Today/Gallup 03/14 - 03/16
49/42 Obama +7.0

Reuters/Zogby 03/13 - 03/14
47/44 Obama +3.0

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/us/democratic_presidential_nomination-191.html

In the 5 polls conducted after pastorgate, Obama leads in 4 (four) of them. Clinton's lead is in Gallup's poll where Obama has closed a significant (Clinton camp's adjective) margin in only two days. Gallup uses a three day moving average, so tomorrow the worst polls of pastorgate will be out and Richardson numbers will be in. Intrade and Rasmussen futures are the highest for Obama since the day after the March 11 primaries.
