try not to go too hard on Bill....
Despite what it may look like sometimes, he does love his wife, and wants this badly for her. He's probably trying to make up for Monica/Gennifer/random ho...

Bill is doing what he's doing out of love and guilt, not because he hates Obama and doesn't want him in the white house. He's not a racist, either.

If you were him would you tell your wife of 30 something years her dreams were over?

12. Same here. I defended him throughout the 90s.
Even during the Lewinsky scandal when I was, quite honestly, disgusted by his behavior. But protecting our republic from the attempted Newt Gingrich coup was more important so I was steadfast in my support. And how am I rewarded? By a disgustingly negative campaign and embarassing behavior by him.

23. I've even gotten to the point that
I'm starting to feel like a sucker for ever supporting him to begin with.

Between the Clinton camps lies and the nastiness and the love-fest with McCain... I'm not even sure if I could support her in the GE anymore. A "D" after the name is not enough to make up for all this. What a disappointment.

6. What he is saying
is that in a matchup bewteen his wife and McCain, it wouldn't be negative but be between two people who both love their country........."all that other stuff" was probably a reference to Monica L. Of course, the Obama supporters want to spin it differently and no doubt MSNBC will make it looks as though he say saying that Obama doesn't love his country.

11. Why would he imply that an Obama/McCain matchup would be negative?
Is he saying that people should vote for his wife because...why? She's white? She loves her country as much as McCain, that other guy doesn't?

Why in hell would we reference this statement to the MONICA ORDEAL, if it wasnt the topic of discussion? That sure is a hell of a reach, hope you didnt pop anything out of joint, stretching like that.

30. I am spinning?
I am not pulling a topic out of my ass to try to explain what he clearly meant...sort of like Hillary's "McCain has a Lifetime of Experience, She has a lifetime of experience...Obama has just a speech" now two of them.

Guess since the big dawg didnt mention Obama by name at all...we can spin it to mean that GW isn't, or Cheney...or -Fill in the blank-

The RW has been doing the Patriotic bullshit, the "not saying the pledge" bullshit, doesn't "wear a flag pin" bullshit....tell me how the hell and I supposed to take this...dont spin so fast, this granny gets motion sickness real easy.

26. They might both believe it's still doable.
It is probably inconceivable to them that she won't be the next POTUS since they've focused on and believed in this for several years. And they're not used to losing much, either. I've been thinking during this campaign that they're probably reeling at the support Obama has garnered -- support I think THEY felt would be there for Hillary.

Take it from a Biden supporter, you can look at teeny positives and make them mean more than they really are, and you have hope and optimism as a result.

25. My concern for America comes before my concern for the Clintons.
I have no idea why they are doing what they are doing and I don't really care. She can't win. I'm sure they both know it. If she were as patriotic as he claims, she would drop out. America can't afford anymore of the Clintons' egos.

44. well you only think on the most obvious level so it has to be spelled out in detail
The main theme of the Clinton campaign is that she has more experience and would be cooler under pressure that Obama.

What your reply accurately shows is that Clinton is rattled by the Richardson endorsement and has started yet another set of gaffes.

Obama has been under much more intense fire and has stayed cooler than the former President thereby showing that he has more than

enough experience and calm to be effective under pressure.

Are you INSANE??? We're not talking a weekend at a bed & breakfast or a piece of jewelry here-the item under discussion is the Presidency of the Republic at a time when it is in danger of collapse. And after being granted the honor of serving in that position himself and all the good things and easy money and adulation that came after he does THIS to the hundreds of millions of Americans who gave him that chance. He trashes a candidate supported by half the democrats and in such a way as to BOOST the chances of the republican??? Bill Clinton has surrendered any legitimacy he ever had with me as a democrat and now seems a part of the flow of capitol cronyism that runs from Nixon thru Bush II with only the Carter interruption....as far as I am concerned he can go and NAFTA himself.....

And I defended him. Still think that he did an overall good job leading this country. But he's a crooked bastard and always has been, and their tactics in this primary have tarnished them completely in my eyes.
