So if Obama's grandmother is a racist for being afraid when she passes a black man on the street, and that is the 'typical' white response...

Does that make Jesse Jackson a racist? Does it make him a 'typical' white?

(in talking about black crime from a 1997 article)

It's especially revealing when a black leader such as Jesse Jackson can admit being embarrassed when, walking at night and hearing footsteps behind him, he nervously looks back and then feels a sudden sense of relief upon seeing that the person behind him is white.

Obama is not doing so well as a uniter, the more he talks the worse it gets.

Nice having our primary turn race into the biggest issue, not the war, economy or healthcare, which by the way effects every race in this country.
