An argument with a repuke
I am having an argument with a repuke and we are basically to the point of the actual time that bush allowed his medical records to be shown to the press.. I remember it bein 20- 30 minutes, but I was hoping someone else could validate me, or give me the actual amount of time the press was allowed to view the records.

1. Sorry, the fact that he even did is news to me.
I'm surprised that Chimpy bothered to doctor anything long enough to let the press see it.

2. Doesn't really matter
since the records left huge gaps of time when his whereabouts were unaccounted for.

Besides, why would you want to waste time on that? Even if he was AWOL the whole time, who cares? Focus like a laser on his incompetence and his being AWOL during half of his "presidency".

3. I made the statement that BUsh only allowed 15 minutes
to view his medical records.. I didnt expect a repuke to call me on the actual amount of time, so I would like to find out how much it actually was..I remember it being 20 minutes.

4. maybe this is what you meant
According to MSNBC, dozens of pages of shrubs medical records were provided for viewing, but could not be removed:

<snip>

"Bush’s medical records — dozens more pages in all — were also opened for examination Friday by reporters in the Roosevelt Room, but that material was not being distributed publicly."

7. Of course
things that happened up to 30+ years ago are irrelevant (for Repukes).

Files Show Kerry Earned Medals for Wounds From Shrapnel, Which Is Still in His Leg

"...Dr. Doyle's summary of the medical records was widely distributed. Just 19 reporters, the reporters who cover the campaign and not medical writers, viewed the full documents. No photographs were allowed.

Mr. Kerry's communications director, Stephanie Cutter, said that the campaign was releasing the records in the interest of transparency, but that the restrictions were imposed because "we don't consider this information public, to begin with."

Ms. Cutter said that Mr. Kerry was following a precedent set by the Bush administration, which this year allowed a small group of reporters to view the president's military medical records, and that the parameters were generous compared to the 20-minute review offered by the White House..."
