6 more weeks of Rev. Wright and Rezco
Oh man, I am giddy right now.

Obama is going to lose in a titanic blowout in Pennsylvania, then the rest of the states will fall like dominoes to Hillary.

Hillary's momentum will carry on through to the convention.

You know this is a very good thing. I'm afraid Obama supporters are going to start hearing the fat lady singing louder and louder as the weeks go by!

2. Try not to get too excited........
because your wish is not this country's command; just yours.

If Rev. Wright is Obama's downfall, Hillary loses in the GE. Simple as that. Take my word.

3. And she will lose in the GE because African Americans and morally conscious
voters will not vote for her. Me included. I will abstain. Good luck trying to win without the democratic base.

32. This is actually quite true.
I work in a remarkably diverse workplace, and am honored to do so. It's one of the things I love so much about my job. I do think that many Americans have not been exposed to the political opinions of minority citizens on a daily basis.

All I'm hearing in the break room is "I'll be writing in Barack Obama and voting the rest of the ticket come November." I don't agree with this sentiment, but it's growing.

51. If Hillary is the nominee, I will abstain from voting.
I made an agreement with my best male pal who is a Reagan Republican. He HATES McCain and he hates Hillary. On this we both agree. We both will vote Obama, but if Hillary gets the nomination, we both abstain.

We will vote for the other races and the ballot measures, but we will both skip voting for the top of the ticket.

I have voted in every election...large or small...since I turned 21 years old (voting age back then). I have always voted Democratic for the top of the ticket in all of these elections.

If Hillary can turn off a partisan and loyal Dem like me, I can imagine what she will do to others. Obama is the ONLY hope we have to beat McCain and the Hillary supporters need to deal with reality and stop the bullshit and start doing some damage control for the sake of the party. Put it and NOT Hillary first.

BTW: I am a former Edwards supporter who switched to Obama because IMO Hillary is bad news. She can NEVER win.

Edited on Sat Mar-15-08 02:21 PM by Kittycat
Well, she is already done. She simply can't catch obama. And in the process, he's already putting out the fires.

What I find incredibly disturbing - is HRC supporters glee in trying to destroy a very promising democrat. You all sound more and more like Bush3 every day. It's very disturbing, but I will be glad when you're finally laid to rest.

8. Did you see what the Tribune had to say?
-snip-
U.S. Sen. Barack Obama waited 16 months to attempt the exorcism. But when he finally sat down with the Tribune editorial board Friday, Obama offered a lengthy and, to us, plausible explanation for the presence of now-indicted businessman Tony Rezko in his personal and political lives.

The most remarkable facet of Obama's 92-minute discussion was that, at the outset, he pledged to answer every question the three dozen Tribune journalists crammed into the room would put to him. And he did.
-snip-

When we endorsed Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination Jan. 27, we said we had formed our opinions of him during 12 years of scrutiny. We concluded that the professional judgment and personal decency with which he has managed himself and his ambition distinguish him.

Nothing Obama said in our editorial board room Friday diminishes that verdict.

The race now should be focused on McCain as well. Hillary's chances are nil at this point. Why even waste time on her race-baiting kitchen sink strategy. Imagine the Hindenburg about 100 yards before it exploded. That's where her campaign is right now.

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll
Saturday, March 15, 2008
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton essentially even in the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination. It’s Obama 46% Clinton 45% (see recent daily results). This reflects an unusually sharp change from yesterday’s results when Obama led by eight points and reached the 50% level of support for the first time. Daily tracking results are collected via nightly telephone surveys and reported on a four-day rolling average basis. Last night’s results were very favorable for Clinton and it remains to be seen whether this marks a lasting change in the race or is merely statistical noise. Single night results are based upon very small samples and are more volatile than the overall tracking poll.

49. Unlikely
Something will almost certainly displace Wright from the top spot. There will be something negative about Hilly and then something else negative about Barack. Rinse, lather, repeat. That's the way things work in the 24 hr news cycle.

And since either Hilly or Obama is in deep trouble no matter who wins the nomination, you might want to temper your enthusiasm. Hilly hate is not going away anytime soon. And neither is Obama hate. Only idiots can't see the damage inflicted on both candidates by this process.
