It's a common pattern.

After they get busted for saying crap that either focuses on Obama's alleged Muslim roots or that race SHOULD be an issue (as speculated by Ferraro), they have to resort to the "pity party" mentality that is actually even mmore pathetic than their original intentions.

As for Ferraro, she simply doesn't know when to shut her piehole.
