Did Hillary ever volunteer to be Obama's VP?

1. She was pandering to African American voters in Mississippi

"you can vote for me and get a twofur" (meaning she would put Obama on as VP)...

subtext is quite insulting... "uppity blacks ought not to reach too high, but we can bring one in from the fields and make him a house *, if that will make you happy. It's all you really deserve."

The message is made clear by the context. Obama is leading her in every category (well, unless you decide that states where Obama won are insignificant) and she offers HIM the VP (backhanded at that).

It didn't work so they dropped it. It was only a ploy for Mississippi.
