Clinton AGAIN raises running with Obama!
When Hell freezes over, Hillary Diane Rhodam Clinton!

"Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton on Friday again raised the possibility that she might run with rival Sen. Barack Obama on the same Democratic presidential ticket.

Speaking to voters in Mississippi, where Sen. Barack Obama is expected to do well in next week's primary, Clinton said, "I've had people say, 'Well I wish I could vote for both of you. Well, that might be possible some day. But first I need your vote on Tuesday."

Is she inFUCKINGsane?!?!?

58. UNITY is what terrifies NeoConMen
You know UNITY makes sense because NeoConMen are Terrified of two little words:

DREAM TICKET

Why do the GOP have nightmares about it?

Why is DREAM TICKET the thousand pound guerrilla sitting among all the breakables in the dainty GOP room?

Why do NeoConMen glance at it and then hold their hands up to blinker their eyes, muttering "Can't see it, Can't see it, Can't see it." hopping that will make it go away?

Because as any loyal Democrat can see, it is not just a single candidate or a mere 4 or 8 years of presidency.

It means a raft of candidates for both presidency, representatives and senate; and time enough in office that they can bring about true change and the dawn of a New Democratic Age for America.

It means Democrats at their convention with the next two winning candidates already lined up and shouting "16 years, Sixteen Years, SIXTEEN YEARS!"

7. Maybe she thinks being on ticket will neutralize her attacks
Plan A - if the attacks work well enough she's able to argue her way to top of ticket

Plan B - if she doesn't make it to top, attacks work well enough to give her enough power to force her way onto the ticket, and her presence on ticket mitigates the damage she's done

I really want to hear him go after her. You can't expect to prove that you are
strong, by allowing this monster to walk all over you!

I love this line and Obama needs to use it. Wow, that would really make her look
like the calculating, dishonest Hillary that millions of Americans have grown to dispise.

He needs to say, "I hear that Hillary is suggesting that we'd be on the same ticket.
It's interesting that one minute she'd select someone who she suggests isn't ready
to pick up the red phone and deal with national-security threats. She's also suggested
that I'm nothing more than a speech. We know those things aren't true, but obviously
Hillary believes them. If she wants someone that she believes is soft on national security,
running with her, then we really need to---once again--question Hillary's Clinton's judgment.

OH whyyyyyyyyy can't he say this???

Sorry, I took your brilliance and ran with it! You inspired me.

Kudos to you! :D :toast: :hi:

11. This is the big plan folks.
She knows that Edwards is a prime candidate for VP and stands a DAMN good shot at beating her to that spot.

My guess is that either soon or after April 22 she will suddenly cry and act all stary and exit randomly. Then the call will go for Obama to pick her as VP.

Folks WE MUST EXPOSE HER NOW!! before she gets the chance to slime her way into the ticket which could see McCain as president in November.

The only person that could greatly resonate Obama as VP in my view is Edwards. Edwards OUGHT to be given another big chance to spread the word about the little guy getting screwed in this nation. He is the DREAM part of the Hope/DREAM ticket!

And yes I think he will also work well on the Clinton ticket yet I will leave it to Clinton supporters to make their case why it needs to be a Clinton/Edwards ticket going into November.

35. Do I have to spell it out...
She is expecting something will happen to Obama that will force her to often take command of the nation. No I am not saying she will do it... I am saying she must feel like she is going to have more power as a VP then as her spot in Congress.

The other big reason is likely she will run in 2012 even if they agreed she wont as a VP. Her being the VP means she can use a slew of new shit against Obama and perhaps win.

The third reason is that she Expects him to lose and she can steal his race points to use in 2012.

Keep in mind that LOTS of republicans DO NOT like John McCain. I have even heard rumors that they are going to swiftboat him to set up another republican for 2012. He will completely lose if he even mentions Clinton as a possibility for a future VP spot sometime in the years to come.

See? He's young and new to Washington. He can be Hillary's Vice-President for eight years and then run all on his own. THAT'S why you should vote for Hillary NOW. You can vote Obama next time - after he grows up a little and gets some experience.

13. No, she is trying to convert black women voters
by holding out this fig leaf... vote for me and MAYBE I'll make Obama my VP choice, so you are really voting for both of us.

But it's a false hope. There is no way that Obama would take the VP slot on a Clinton ticket... and I doubt that she is serious about offering it to him.

She has already killed that idea by her endorsement of McCain over Obama for President.

The very first decision that a Presidential candidate makes is the decision of VP. Hillary cannot pick Obama for that spot now simply because she has already declared him unfit to be President. The ONLY qualification for the VP (other than political stuff) is that he or she be fit to be President should something happen. Should Hillary pick Obama, the repukes would have a field day.

So, no, this isn't a real offer. Just a ploy to get some Obama supporters to vote for Hillary.

She says he's got no experience, yet, she'd put him a heartbeat away from the presidency?

Doesn't sound like she's very serious about protecting the country if she'd risk putting a guy in the VP chair that only brings a speech he made in 2002.

They all know how to add at her campaign headquarters and barring drawing an inside straight there just is no way in Hell that the numbers add up for her, even with re-dos in Mich and Fla.

"Make me veep or I'll wreck the joint" seems to be her message. I'll be curious to see Obama's response this time.

I notice she didn't demand being the top of the ticket this time, unless the press did not publish all her remarks. Or was that omission intentional?

She wants people to think that she'll put Obama on the ticket. She's positioning
a vote for Hillary as a vote for Obama.

How lovely of her. She gets up in the morning, and eviscerates Obama seven ways
to Sunday. When she's not mocking Obama and his supporters, she's trying to capitalize
on his movement and on his popularity by suggesting that he'll be on her ticket.

She gets to destroy him AND benefit from any popularity that survived the Hillary meat grinder!

She's not a monster. She's bloodsucking leach!

...she's a shameless piece of shit.

I'm sorry. I don't talk like this in real life, but Hillary Clinton
is trying to destroy Obama and she's somehow managed to get the media
to do her bidding for her.

Hillary Clinton is the female George Bush. No ploy is too low. No
attack is too vicious. No dirty trick too pathetic. She'll do anything
and say anything to win. It doesn't matter who she insults, how many
lies she tells, what states she disparages of how much she spews
manipulations through her giant, horse teeth.

Anyone who isn't outrages by her Rovian bullshit, is not normal.

I see that the media didn't cover Obama's big speech today, in Wyoming. However, they
just covered 15 solid minutes of Bill Clinton's speech. We used to collectively get
upset when the Republicans manipulated the media and blocked out our candidates. We
despised how they were part of the corporatist, corrupt establishment who could make
phone calls to the press and get the coverage they demanded.

Now Hillary does it, and we're supposed to NOT hate it?
