Clinton Launches Assault on Obama's Foreign Policy Experience
Dems Fear Clinton's Increasingly Aggressive Attacks Give McCain More Ammo

Apparently convinced that her attacks on Barack Obama's national security preparedness helped her win this past Tuesday, Sen. Hillary Clinton gathered retired military leaders to continue her frontal assault on Obama's foreign policy experience today.

"The voters shouldn't have to wonder whether their president is ready at three in the morning when the phone rings," said Lt. Gen. Joe Ballard, in one of several statements assailing Clinton's rival.

"Sen. McCain will bring a lifetime of experience to the campaign; I will bring a lifetime of experience; and Sen. Obama will bring a speech that he gave in 2002," Clinton said today after her event with the military leaders.

Republicans do not mind it one bit.

"Everything that Hillary Clinton has been saying over the last couple weeks are all great soundbites and cuts for John McCain to use in the fall," said political analyst Matthew Dowd, a former senior adviser to President Bush.

3. I heard someone today say the dems ought to get
together and have the candidates attack McCain on different issues everyday like a tag team. The problem is Hillary would have to switch teams.

4. Uhm... The Rezko trial will give them all the ammo they need

That and the memo exchange between McCain and Obama.

McCain has no respect for Obama. He won't be nice to him in the GE.

I guess Rezko now cuts both ways. Just like NAFTA-gate. The "red phone", which the press has just began to really question her foreign policy cred, when she didn't even have a security clearance. Everything she's thrown at him, eventually comes right back around to bite her in her ample behind.

ENJOY....

6. We have a contest, the GOP doesn't ...
Edited on Thu Mar-06-08 09:24 PM by sjdnb
The MSM and a few dolts in the party are flinging logic out the window, once again, in a pathetic attempt to liven things up.

They've been playing the gullible the whole election.

They would HAVE to be stupid not to realize that the softballs she's lobbed at him are NOTHING compared to the war chest the GOP is working on.

12. It really looks to me like Clinton is hedging her bets and,
should she not get the nomination, is going to do everything she can to keep Obama so she can run again in 2012 - just like, if Woodward is to be believe, her operative Carville sandbagged Kerry in 2004.

We have really got to hope that neither of them has enough for a first ballot nomination and the convention deadlocks until an alternative to the pair of them can be settled on.

16. And while we fight among ourselves
Bush is entertaining the Saudi Prince, the King of Jordan and tap dancing on the West Wing patio while selling our country out over and over. Our soldiers must wonder if we will ever get back to thinking about them. Iraqis are dying by the dozens and killing our stop-lossed children while we argue over crap and McCain is willing to carry on for another hundred years. Is this the type of experience Senator Clinton feels is worth endorsing. Is this what sets her and Senator McCain apart from Senator Obama?
