A Quick Summary Of Dem Pre-Primary Polling
For those of you wondering if the sky is falling or not on the basis of the last wave of polls, I think a reminder of what the polls have said this year prior to all the primaries and caucuses are in order ...

-- In IA, Hillary was poised to begin her coronation with a win, according to the polls.

-- In NH, Obama was poised to consolidate his win by knocking out Hillary, according to the polls.

-- In SC, Hillary was ready to solidify her frontrunner status by going back to her base and riding on Bill's coat tails, according to the polls and news.

-- On Super Tuesday, Obama's romp in SC was merging with the Kennedy endorsements to ride him to victory in CA, MA, and possibly even NY, according to the polls.

-- Post-Super Tuesday, Hillary withstanding Obama's momentum clearly signaled a closing race, especially in WI, according to the polls.

-- And now, in TX and OH, Obama's momentum in closing the gap in TX and OH has slowed to a crawl if not having been reversed, signaling Hillary's ability to prevent Obama from essentially wrapping up the nomination, at least according to the polls.

In short, every time one side or the other has depended on the polls to tell them A on the Democratic side, apparently Z has happened. Which should be a lesson either to ignore the polls or, perhaps, go against whatever the polls are saying at any given time. This has been the only consistency in the Democratic race, and I hope all remember this.

According to a poll of one. Me.

1. Really

"This has been the only consistency in the Democratic race"

I think 11 straight landslide wins is pretty consistent.
