Rush Limbaugh is telling his listeners to vote for Hillary to keep the party in chaos
fwiw. I doubt he has THAT big of an impact on the election but its a lie that all republicans are crossing over to vote for Obama.

8. Because Mass Dem and others here say republicans are secretly
voting for Obama but cannot provide any evidence. What are Obama supporters to do in the face of that? Act like it was never said?

24. fact. it was only about 7% of the total for both candidates
and Obama won by 17%. In other words, it did not by even a stretch of your fertile imagination, change the outcome.

Read "The Emerging Democratic Majority": http://www.emergingdemocraticmajority.com/edm/index.cfm

Please don't write off these potential Dems who have been fooled the past several decades by the con-men and criminals.

28. Right...and that tipped the whole election there?
People were saying Obama won VA because Limbaugh said "shhh...vote for Obama." He never did and he doesn't have enough listeners to swing the election. Yet they claim away...

14. It's useful to know about Republican attempts to influence our primary
If Rush was encouraging listeners to vote for Obama, I'd want to know about it.

I believe there are some Republicans voting for Obama because they hate Hillary, but I have not seen much evidence of a campaign to get Republicans to vote for Obama, other than a few isolated incidents, such as the flyer distributed by volunteers in Nevada, which I believe the Obama campaign denounced.

If Republicans are waging an organized campaign to get voters to vote for the candidate they think would be the weaker opponent or the candidate whose victory would keep our nomination process in chaos, we ought to know about that. So I don't see what's wrong with this post.

32. So, last week when RW shill David Brooks was peddling his anti-Obama stuff...
...and countless pro-Clinton DUers ran with it , posted it, and screamed defensively “Don't shoot the messenger!”, that was okay.

Now that someone puts up a post with Limbaugh's words that boast of pro-Hillary skullduggery on the part of GOP voters, all of a sudden it's “Right Wing Smut”.

The double-standard-ism in these parts is enough to cause whiplash. :)

7. My aunt ('military wife' retired/widowed) in Texas is voting for Hillary just because she is certain
that McCain can beat her in November.

We had quite an interesting conversation on the subject sunday but I still love her just the same.

26. I think republicans may swing towards Hillary in TX/OH now that it looks better for Obama
I know 5 republicans in my family alone in TX who have changed their minds in last few weeks. Now they're voting for Hillary (all will vote for McCain in GE). I wouldn't be surprised if many listen to that idiot rush. They have no reason to vote in republican primary so they're just deciding who to vote for in dem primary.

There's a party that's falling apart at the seams. John McCain - their finest offering. Bwahahahahahahahahahaha.

Be careful what you wish for, fatso. You'll be bawling your eyes out come Nov. 5th.

20. Contrary to popular belief, there are some Republicans who vote for Obama because they like him.
Not because they're trying to game the system, but because they actually see in Obama the leader this nation needs, after the douchebags in their own party have caused so much damage.

We can convert them.

23. Really? So "hope and change" erases the reasons they became rethugs in the first place?
The only reason someone who believes in the rethug platform would vote for Obama is because they view him as the most conservative Democrat available...

the reasons they became republicans in the first place is no longer represented by the republican party. Is that really so hard to fathom?

33. Yep. There's a big difference between what the GOP was promising, and what they were delivering.
They promised small, efficient government. Instead we got a government that spends like drunken frat boys with their first credit card.

They promised sensible foreign policy. They got the Iraq War and endless saber rattling.

They wanted health care free of government bureaucracy. They got it with insurance bureaucracy instead.

The GOP truly jumped the shark, and people are fleeing. If we can be civil with the ones that come here (assuming they're open-minded and civil with us,) we can make Democrats out of them.

27. They hate her so much more because they've been trained by the Limbaughs to hate her
for the past 16 years. Rush is trying to teach his pets new tricks contrary to the old ones. It's not an easy thing to do.
