A local Clark supporter and good friend of my family will be speaking at
tomorrow's United For Peace March at Madison Square Garden, site of this
year's GOP Convention. She and her daughter will be travelling with Sue
Niederer, who recently lost her young son while he was serving in Iraq.

A CNN film crew will be following them throughout the day to document
their journey. I hope we can catch some of the coverage tomorrow. Leah,
Perry, Janie and all others who will be attending the march tomorrow, be
safe and speak out!!! If my child were older, I would stand with you.

Here is the statement Mildred will be giving tomorrow in front of the
gathered crowds:

As Sue Niederer's son returned to our hometown in a coffin, my son Steven
left on his journey to Iraq. And so, our family's nightmare began. On
Sunday, the first soldier from Steve's Division was killed by a roadside
bomb. My husband Steve, and daughter Vanessa and I wait. Was this our
son, Steve? Or did he witness this horrific event? We do know it was
someone's soldier who died, and we mourn. Thousands of families go
through this every day since the war began one year ago.

It is a soldier's responsibility to serve when called to defend his country.
We are so proud of our son and all the soldiers of our armed forces.

It is a President's responsibility to act with integrity and tell the truth, as
he holds the precious lives of our loved ones in his hands.

President Bush, you have failed these soldiers, their families, your country!

President Bush,

You said Iraq had Chemical and Biological Weapons. None were found.
You said Iraq had Nuclear Weapons. None were found.
You said Saddam had ties to Al Qaeda. None were found.

Lies!

The Iraq War: The Centerpiece of President Bush's war on TRUTH!

Every day I pray for my son in Iraq, but I also pray that those who started
this war will be brought to justice.

WE, THE PEOPLE, (remember us, President Bush?) MUST hold President
Bush accountable today by calling our senators, congressman and calling
for his censure. And we MUST hold him accountable in November.
