The Hillary people will stop at NOTHING.
Now they're trying to regurgitate the Resco thing which has been vetted and shown that Obama did NOTHING, I say again NOTHING illegal when it came to that individual. He has been honest about it, and money that he found was donated by the guy has been given ENTIRELY to charity. The Hillary backers have started a slick fat-cat-funded 527 to usurp the legitimate process to feed money into their cash-starved campaign to try to save their sinking ship. Let's see how fast and how vigorously Hillary tells them to stop if she's so concerned about campaign finance. Then they have the gall to question Obama about campaign finance, or ANYTHING else. Talk about lies? She has lied time and again (i.e. about illegal alien driver's licenses on national TV), and talk about ethics? Let's start talking about everything from Whitewater to travelgate to the crooks in her Rose Law Firm and all their dirty deals to helping Walmart bust union movements and use sweatshop labor. Her latest trick is to accuse Obama of plagiarism and then STEALS MANY of his stump lines and phrases. SICKENING ! Completely SICKENING !!

33. When Rezko leads to Bush3 and a 9-11 event like Jackson Stephens' BCCI did, let me know.
Edited on Thu Feb-21-08 06:03 PM by blm
Until then you all have some NERVE to want citizens of this nation who were betrayed for decades by Bush and Clinton to get exercised over a smalltime wannabe Chicago player like Rezko.

of the decisions Clinton made that TRULY PROTECTED the worst criminal fascists and their terror networks that led to everything bad happening today in our country and around the globe.

47. Pushing the Rezko story as if it is a deal breaker after Clintons' contributions
in the dealings that protected BushInc for years, is an absurdity on its own.

THAT is what I point out - but those unacquainted with the inconvenient truths about the protection Clintons gave BushInc the last two decades don't care enough to apply the sense of proportion test, and support Clintons blindly.

8. "The trial is coming up."
And assuming theres more to it than your lust for revenge that he dared to beat your beloved "unstoppable" candidate, what good will it do Hillary now that she will probably be out of the race by the time any damning evidence is presented?

All your hoping for at this point is for a McCain win in the GE.

Nice going.

25. That's why she needs to hang in there until we see what sort of
damage this is going to inflict on St. Obama.

It will be a nightmare being saddled with him during the general when there is a very good potential it'll be the only story we will hear about from your beloved MSM.

It'll probably be on court TV and CNN, maybe CSPAN, with tidbits on the evening news. Maybe it'll be run on many networks like the Clemens inquiry last Wed.

Fitz has cleared him. I know this will be a disappointment for you as you cling to the sinking S.S. Hillary, but that's the way it evidently is. And lord knows her illegal funding problems are exponentially worse. Hillbots are frantic now, scurrying in a panic around her wounded campaign. He's tied with her in TX and only 7 pts back in Ohio. She looks more pathetic each day with each new lame slogan. I'm hoping she goes on the attack tonight. she's piss poor at it and it'll finish her off.

17. And it will prove NOTHING !
Yeah, go ahead and defend the person who takes more filthy corporate lobbyist money than most Republicans. Defend the defender of NAFTA. Defend all of the parsing, triangulating, and sneaky slimy weasely double-talk. Defend lying outright for all to see by saying she was opposed to illegal drivers licenses AFTER she clearly said she supported the plan. Defend the hypocrite who accuses Obama of "plagiarism" and then plagiarizes his stump speech. I feel pretty damn sorry for you. Enjoy your sinking ship because people are going to see straight through all this crap and smack it down the way they did in Wisconsin, Hawaii, and Overseas. Desperate nastiness from a desperate campaign.

Edited on Thu Feb-21-08 05:59 PM by Dems Will Win
The FEC will fine this 527 group and the Clintons after the primaries for being a candidate advocacy group and starting up just 2 weeks before the primaries in TX and OH. 527s are supposed to be about issues ONLY.

It's an outrageous flouting of the election laws on 527 and the Obama campaign is complaining about it.

2. Rezko seems relevant to me
I don't think whether anything was illegal is the main point, it's that Obama had a significant political relationship with a crook and did at least one favor for him. This favor is indisputable. And again, the favor was not illegal, but that's not the point.

31. Again, the Rezko problem is not a legal vs. illegal one.
Obama states this man was "my friend for 12 years." And somehow he didn't notice that Rezko was a slimeball. Don't you think you would know it if your friend of 12 years, with whom you had lunch a couple times a year, and your wife spent time with his wife, and was currently under investigation which was in the Chicago newspapers repeatedly during that time, was engaging in illegal activities? Don't you think you would realize that? Who is he going to be appointing to his cabinet?
