dean will be on hannity and colmes tonight
why is the good doctor lowering himself by going on a rigged show where the debate is set by one side and he'll be interrupted and insulted?

3. Because he's desperately trying to stay relevant
Personally, I think he should go back to Vermont for a while and cool off. This is Kerry's time, and he doesn't need Dean out there shooting his mouth off and getting in screaming matches with the likes of Sean Hannity.

14. He did announce from Seattle. Tonight webstreams from San Francisco.
Tomorrow from NYC. C-Span is supposed to show the Seattle one this week-end.

It is an interesting org with great potential.

9. I think Dean
Edited on Thu Mar-18-04 05:20 PM by fertilizeonarbusto
was asked to do this by Kerry. At least, I hope so because it's smart. Dean can go mano a mano with this scum without worrying about soiling himself too unduly, but Kerry, who is the standard-bearer and presumptive nominee, has to be more circumspect and choosy in his forums and shouting-matches. But, Hannazi (love that) and his ilk HAVE to be answered. Dean, with his fire, brains and courage is just the man. Get them, Howard!!!!!!!!!!!

Dean might just be a good match for that low life Hannity or as you say Hannazi!! I WILL tune in!

Wasnt Dean supposed to be on Larry King also??

13. I thought Kerry was on vacation
Would you prefer Bush hogged all the airtime? Especially on FAUX, who would gladly worship him 24/7 if given a chance.

20. Personally,
I can't think of anyone better to speak for progressives. We can't get a straight answer out of Kerry. Let Dean deflect the 'pukes blows. What I like about Dean, is what attracted me to him in the first place. He wasn't afraid to lose.
So, he lost. That didn't make him wrong. It made him anathema to the status quo, of which Kerry is a part.

22. Dean, along with all Democrats ARE RELEVANT! and we should never
ever cool off or go hide anywhere! Dean can take the heat off of Kerry. He can "get down and dirty" while Kerry stays "Presidential".

25. Kerry needs every Dem
who has the gumption, to get the hell "out there" and keep the press and people riled up by blasting BushCo.

Dr Dean should NOT shut up and go home to Vermont. Neither should any of the others who ran. The more of them who manage to get "out there" and speak up, the better off we will be.

Clark and Dean are doing it - where the hell are the rest of them?

4. He was excellent when he was on with Hannity before.
Outspoken, and treated pretty much with respect. Makes me nervous, but he did a good job before. He needs to do it.

6. Because he can handle it.
I might just have to tune in this time. Normally I can't even bother watching that puke Hannity.

7. It's the only press he can get. You will notice not a single mention
on any of the corp press about his new org. A complete media blackout. It's stunning the amount of fear he must generate among the ruling elite.

21. Dean is on Harball today Right now!
I think you will be seeing much more of Dean now that he has come out with his new movement! He will keep hammering the rightwing on everything and the media does like a good fight, especially if they smell blood.

17. Hannazi will only make himself look like the rabidly insane fascist
that he is. The fact that such a putrid lying bastard even has a TV show on a major "news" network is evidence enough of what the corporatist shitballs have done to brainwash the American public.

16. Matthew's son worked for Dean's campaign.
He is grudgingly respectful, and gives Dean a little room. He still is tough, but not bad.

15. Hannity was respectful of him the last time.
I remember Hannity said to some folks in the background, that he knew they did not want Dean to be on his show....he said relax, the good doctor can handle himself. It is be ok. It was not bad at all. That said, I never watch Hannity.

Edited on Thu Mar-18-04 05:37 PM by zwade
which i know many here hate him.. but I happen to think hes great.. is a little tougher .. Hannity is nothing but a shill with rehearsed BS... he says the same thing over and over... and tries to pin em down with slanted bs questions.. its very pathetic to watch. Mathews.. thats another story.

Edited to concur:
Colmes is gutless. The perfect match for idiot. Idiot & Gutless on FAUX. Followed by Limp Penis.

After watching him on Tweety, I'm convinced. The Doctor praised Kerry at every opportunity, and slammed Bush in between.
