that? Why is McCain running neck and neck with Hillary and Obama? I assumed democratic enthusiasium would be somewhat reflected in the national polls. I admit, I am nervous about this whole thing. What with Hillary trying to take Obama down by any means possible, and the right wing galvanizing if Hillary is the nominee, I'm afraid we are hurting our chances in November. And whats impt to me more than anything is having a democrat in the whitehouse come November. Thank you.

It seems that the polls are capturing the Obama voters who tend to be young rather well, if not over-representing them.

I think the phenomenon presented by the OP more likely reflect the fact that Democrats are enthused about their candidates and Republicans will probably get off their ass and vote in the GE, but none of their candidates were very exciting to begin with.
