So I Just Heard It On The Ed Schultz Show...."platitudes"
a Clinton supporter referring to Barack Obama's speaking style. Jeez can't the Clinton campaign come up with ANYTHING original? First they steal Obama's message of "change" and now John McCain's...Hillary Clinton is the new and improved version of Mike Huckabee-working with her "good friend" John McCain like "The Huckster" did for him against Romney...pathetic

1. Yep--notice McCain does not attack her, but she and McCain are using
Edited on Fri Feb-15-08 01:41 PM by wienerdoggie
the same language all of a sudden--not taking on policy (like Obama is, with NAFTA and lobbyist influence) but just hitting him with the Rove tactic of attacking Obama's strength, his public speaking abilities. It's coordinated. McCain doesn't want to see Obama as nominee, and she doesn't either--and they're old friends. They're trying another Romney squeeze play.

3. they are using a 16 year old game plan and we have moved on. It's not enough to be a conservative..
without the fear & hate-mongering.

People had forgotten then that economic and even foreign policy had a direct effect on their lives.

Bush has helpfully reminded us that mishandled properly, those things can have a profound effect on our lives.

6. That was McCain who said that in a speech YESTERDAY!
Edited on Fri Feb-15-08 02:01 PM by napi21
All that caller was doing was repeating what he heard McCain say about Obama.

In his victory speech after the Potomac primaries, John McCain took several thinly veiled shots at Barack Obama, claiming that offering "only rhetoric" to advance the country "is not the promise of hope. It is a platitute."

Hillary is not helping herself with her "Let's put this puppy called HOPE in a bag and toss it into the river, because puppies are trouble!"

Hillary: NO WE CAN'T!!

Helluva campaign theme, isn't it?

13. her an McCain are going to try to gang up on Obama the same way
as McCain and Huckleberry ganged up on Romney in the Virginia caucus. I believe this is the one where McCain's supporters all went to Huckleberry to defeat Romney...Their tactic is going to backfire. All Obama has to do is paint the image of Hillary and McCain being joined at the hip and he'll defeat both of them.
