2. Hear hear!!!
I started counting them one day, picked a prolific poster and bumped all 15 threads to the top... each with the simple message in the subject line...

#1 eom

#2 eom

#3 eom... and so on, and so forth... would have done it to all the chatter boxing pissing match contestants, but I grew bored:)

:hi:

4. I think its a bad idea
Edited on Wed Feb-13-08 09:01 PM by Wolsh

News moves quick, and some posters are better at finding this news then others. Limiting the amount of new threads one can post, also limits the news that is available to the forum.

Lets be honest, this rule was put into effect to curb the posting of one particular poster, who apparently isn't even among us anymore.

6. I agree.
First person I can think of is DeepModemMom. There's also ProSense, Dems Will Win, and others.

5. Yes, it certainly has cleaned this place up
It's now possible to read GDP without retching! Of course, those who were the worst offenders just HATE it. How delightful is that?

7. I think it is a GREAT idea!
If something is really really news worthy and not some guys opinion about why one of the candidates did such and such awful thing... that news will be posted on the Late Breaking News forum. And I disagree, I think there were more than just ONE poster flooding with crap that they shouldn't. imo
