1. I get it...but
That is gonna go way over people's heads...you're gonna get people thinking Kerry was in jail for something.

5. I like a variation on that bumper sticker that Kerry has
The one that says "Dated Dean, Married Kerry"

How about "Married Dean, Settled For Kerry"

6. I think its stupid. . .
. . .flame away if you must but Dean supporters can either support Kerry or not. Its time to realize that John Kerry is the nominee and we should not be putting conditions on our support or talking about being his "probation officer." I gave my blood, sweat and tears for Wes Clark, but he did not win, now I will give my blood, sweat and tears for John Kerry, I suggest others grow up and do the same. Its not about Howard Dean or Wes Clark its about taking back our country. The sooner we lick our wounds and move on the better.

7. Mr. Kerry undercut people like me in Massachusetts
(just witness the passage of the anti marriage amendment) and thus he gets my vote, but not my blood, sweat, and tears.

8. It's about a movement
Perhaps it is nothing for you to abandon one for another but some of us really have our hearts set on changing things and we don't believe falling unquestionably into line is the way to achieve it.

Obvioulsy it's a sore spot with you and that's the key work here: "you". I don't see any other negative posts in this thread, in fact I see Dean supporters willing to consider Kerry and hoping he'll give our views the same.

Very interesting to see your post claiming you think it's stupid. Dean isn't going away anytime soon and you'd be mistaken to wish he was. If the Dems are smart they'll work with him cause he's got what they lack, the ability to incite passion.

I don't think it's Dean supporters who are reluctantly willing to vote Kerry and determined to keep the progressive movement going who have the issues, no I think it is those who are bitter and spiteful toward them.

9. Who is abandoning one for the other. . .
. . .Wes Clark is fully supporting John Kerry and many of his supporters are doing so as well. I am not asking Dean to go away anytime soon, however I think its pointless to rally around Dean when there is an election going on and he is not the nominee. Did I ever say I wished to be gone? No! I just said the shirt was STUPID. . .it is! Read into it what you want, waste your time doing so. I will be working towards getting John Kerry elected and when this is over I will make sure I continue to stay faithful to Wes Clark. Right now he wants us to join him in taking back the White House.

10. We're not rallying around Dean and are fully aware
that he is not an active candidate. Most of us will vote for Kerry--what choice do we have?

But we WILL watch what happens very carefully and continue to support honest politicians who are not Chimpy enablers.

15. Well considering the tone that this t-shirt sets. . .
. . .I think it would be wise not to embrace it. But people can do what they want to do. If they want to hold on to a non existent campaign go right ahead, we (the Democrats) are moving forward and we hope as many people as possible will join us no matter how their candidates did in the primary.

20. Oh please. . .
. . .I don't have a problem with your avatar. There is nothing wrong with keeping something positive from a candidate in the primary. If you notice my sig line says nothing about putting the nominee on probation does it?

12. Way to support the candidate
from the stupid wing of the Democratic Party. The loser wing of the Democratic Party. Present our nominee as a parolee. Sharp as water balloons you folks are.

Howard Dean, champion of progressivism. Almost as hilarious as his entire campaign.

13. This has nothing to do with Dean's campaign.
A supporter of his came up with it.

14. It has nothing to do with Dean,
but his stupid name is prominently displayed on the T-Shirt. Must have been an accident.

The moron wing of the Democratic Party.

17. Your posts:
Promoting a t-shirt that harms a cause you claim to support.

Making a post that contradicts common sense.

Making a post that has no meaning.

Ten-hut!
