Kucinich is Back!

March 11, 2004

Congressman Kucinich made a surprise visit to his staff at the Cleveland headquarters yesterday afternoon. After taking a few days off campaigning to recover from a brief bout with gastroenteritis, the Congressman reported, “I feel great. They ran every possible test on me and I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been in.” Despite being confined to a hospital bed, the candidate did call-in interviews for several radio stations. Kucinich will resume his full campaign pace beginning Saturday in Illinois.

17. You're probably right. I do make bad jokes some times.
And I'll end up supporting Kerry too - even if he IS horsefaced. :)

12. That photo of Bush in a thong reminds me of a joke about
him sticking a potato down his pants to attract women. The only problem was that he stuck it down the back, instead of the front.

6. That is great to hear!
He looks great and probably got a well-deserved rest too! Too bad it was in a hospital instead of at the beach.

Kerry and Bush trade barbs, signifying nothing.

No discussion of major issues of the nation.

Hey, DK, welcome back, sweetheart, we missed you.:bounce:

P. S. I donated AGAIN.He's there for US and I will be there for him.

15. I haven't missed a month; he's
gotten everything I've got left after the bills, and then some, all along. If I valued his contribution before, I can't express strongly enough how much that has increased. With the results so far, and all those people thinking he should just give up and go away, he is still speaking, working, and engaging the process and the conversation for me, and for those of us who don't like the direction our country or the democratic party has taken. That has a profound positive effect on the otherwise negative outcome of being marginalized. Instead of despair and cynicism, there is still hope and energy.

That in itself is more valuable than anything else a politician has done in my lifetime. Just my perspective.
