Just watching Abrams shaking my head. A 20-year old that has NEVER voted
Edited on Mon Feb-11-08 09:17 PM by Horse with no Name
before is a superdelegate in Wisconsin.
He seems like a fine young man...but surely they could have given the power of 9500 votes to someone who had at least cast a vote before.

edited for mistake

2. I don't know. He wouldn't say.
BUT I got the impression he was pretty enamored by the Clinton's.

23. I'm 23, I support Obama, and I have voted in every election since turning 18.
Yes, even mayoral primaries.

4. How did that happen? I thought all the superdelegates were party leaders
and/or people who have held major offices or are still in office,

6. Hey. Let's find 500 Obamakids to peer pressure the shit out of this kid
If it works for drugs, it can work for candidates.

How'd this kid become a super delegate anyway?

He took the initiative to run for the DNC when no other adult would. He earned it. More power to him.

11. It is bullshit
Some 21 year old can have a lunch with Chelsea, get a call from Bill, get a call from Kerry, and have his vote count for 9500x as mine. Fucking Bullshit, it is wide open for fraud and manipulation.

22. I wonder how he got into that position
Was it because he was really active in a Democratic youth group? Or was it because he comes from a super rich family? If it is the former, then I don't really care. If it is the latter, then that is fucked.

13. Yup, he can pimp himself out to the highest bidder
1 SuperDelegate. Imagine what Mitt Romney would pay for just one delegate.

15. I felt the same way I know he is a good kid
but I don't think he should have that much power over my vote. And just because he's young doesn't mean he will go for Obama. I am sure a call from Bill and meeting Chelsea had some influence on him.
