BBV: Just now, on our local news in North Florida, they showed a
county where the paper ballot line number trip thingy skipped a line and Gephardt got all Kerry's votes, winning the primary in that county and Kerry got all Kucinich's votes. (Pardon my paraphrase, and also if this has been posted. I have been at work all day.) They recounted the paper ballots after deciding that there must have been an error in the line thingy. Sooooooooo, what happens in the electronic voting precincts if a bug interferes with the tally--even though bugs in new software are verrrrrry rare, I concede.

1. that was Bay County Florida's optical reader BBV's!
The machines were set for absentee ballots - which were ever so slightly different from the ones printed for election day!
