Every picture tells a story

There's something about that Barack Obama logo.

I couldn't put my finger on it.

It beckoned to me, inviting the intuitive right side of my brain into its Oprahlicious, Obamariffic "O."

Finally, I turned to my linear half and asked, "what does this literally mean?"

And now that I really see it — have my whole head and heart wrapped around it — it's beautiful, a picture worth three transformative words: "Morning in America!"

Auntie Em: "Almira Gulch. Just because you own half the town doesn't mean that you have the power to run the rest of us. For twenty-three years I've been dying to tell you what I thought of you! And now... well, being a Christian woman, I can't say it!"

15. Well, I *know* it's the Wizard of Oz
A good quote. But is this widely used as a "rule"?

17. That was Ronald Reagan's motto. Please don't use that.
"Morning in America" was the Ronald Reagan thing. It sickens me to hear it and remember it. It was a lie.

18. Of course
And Ben Franklin would say that it's a rising sun, not a setting one. Obama has the archetypes down.
