Did I hear that right? Our caucus had a huge turnout, but I just heard on the radio that in 2004, there were 15,000 dems caucusing statewide; and last night there were 118,000 dems caucusing.

Is there a list anywhere that compares turnout by year and by party?

1. Was CO important to the
nomination last time? Or was the candidate already chosen?

2. Dunno...
I'm not sure. I know CO went to Gore in 2000 and Kerry in 2004. CO has historically been a very red state -- only voting for dem candidates twice in its history, I think.

But I doubt that it was pivotal in 2004 caucuses.
