2. I must say that living in CA, it does seem at times like the rest of the country doesn't exist.

3. Yep, but Americans will see the map and see Obama rocking it all over the country
so the Cali talk will wear thin.

4. It won't matter after tonight
It will be about the delegates and the overall momentum, which is solidly on Obama's side.

Beyond that, I think there's a sizeable chunk of folks in flyover country who resent NY and Cali. anyway. People in those states seem to think they are the only ones that matter, yet it is Ohio and Missouri who decided the last presidential election.

5. California is the world's 6th largest economy -- we are our own country
California and NY are the financial pumps that keep the US going. You may not like it, but those are
the facts. I say this as an Edwards supporter that crossed over and voted for Obama. My feeling is the
final tally will be much closer than it seems now.

6. To be fair, CA is a massive chunk of the US, and they never used to be able to be players
in these contests--it was usually all over by the time the primary hit their state. No one ever talked about them in the context of a primary, often as not.

They deserve a chance to participate in the early stages, for a change.
