Clinton a "Liability"
Edited on Tue Feb-05-08 10:31 AM by Bleachers7
<snip>
Some Red State lawmakers are backing Obama for pragmatic reasons -- they're concerned that having Clinton at the top of the ticket may polarize the electorate and cause state and local Democratic candidates to lose their own jobs, said Melvin Kahn, a member of the Central Kansas Democratic Committee. ``Clinton is a liability,'' Kahn said.

5. well gee, I thought all them jayhawks believed that all elections
were local and the congress folks that ran did not get all lumped in with the national candidate. If a damn democrat allows for his opponent to use that tired "clinton is a liability" against them then the damn candidate has no business representing anyone....

7. Right Wing meme! That's not what the repukes said this morning on C-SPAN!
The MAJORITY of the repukes that called in said if McCain wins the repuke nomination, THEY ARE STAYING HOME! This "Hillary is a Liability" crap is nothing but a KKKRove ploy which the gullible swallow lock, stock and barrel. Hillary will kick ass in the GE.

If repukes stay home...guess what? HILLARY WINS.

11. Hillary will not be president.
There's a lot of arguing here. Hillary will not ultimately be president. She'll lose to McCain or Romney or whoever.

13. so . . . just out of curiousity, how do you plan on voting should Clinton become the nominee?
Why do you think Clinton is a liability?

Do you think she may "polarize the electorate" and "cause state and local Democratic candidates to lose their own jobs"?

So would you vote for that ol' unifier McCain?
