If McCain wins the nomination, will it be the death of right wing radio?
After hearing the visceral tirades against McCain from Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity and probably many others, are they going to face the fact that if he wins then that means their audiences aren't listening to them? If that is the case, will they be so disgusted with each other (hosts and audiences) that they divorce permanently?

1. No. When Hillary or Obama is in the WH they'll be just fine.

2. Their audiences probably aren't voting for McCain.
In any large numbers.

When McCain wins a primary with 30-40% of the vote, there's still 60-70% of Republicans that didn't vote for him.

3. People don't quit their addictions so easily
If they could think that logically, would they even be in the business to begin with?

Nah, they'll start lining up behind McCain soon enough--once their sponsors start calling them, that is.

5. That would be the only positive of him winning the nomination
But I doubt it will stop the likes of Limpbagh or Coultergeist. They have a right wing agenda and will simply turn it on Hillary or Barrack, which ever gets the nod.

6. If the universe is in balance, on that day, each one of those useless assholes
will undergo the rare phenomenon of spontaneous combustion. Now that would be one set of videoclips that would be worth watching, and would erase the ultimate insult of how Limpballs lampooned Michael J Fox. And the listeners can then get to an endless stream of sleep number bed, head on, and other fish oil ads, ad nauseum!

7. NO, they'll play if both ways
Raling against has more value in talk radio than railing FOR.

8. Those same people flapped their jaws all the way through
Clinton's presidency. It will only make them more popular if McCain wins.

9. I think what they are up to is reverse psychology...to paint the 100 Year War man as a "liberal"....

Don't believe a word that comes out of their lying mouths.

Their true believers will dependably vote Republican in the fall no matter what.

And by that time Limbaugh, Coulter, et al, will be saying they have to vote for McCain even though he's a "liberal".

Right now, what they are doing is trying to convince the corporate media the false meme that McCain is an "independent moderate" despised by the hard right.

Michael Savage does this trick every 2 years -------- He spends 80% of his time denouncing Bush and Republicans, calling himself an "independent", then swings into line every 2 years in October.
