Just Finished Watching HRC On 'This Week With GS'...
And it got me thinking about voice...

John McCain can't deliver a speech to save his ass. And Hillary Clinton speaks that canned politician-ese, that sounds like she's the head of the PTA speaking to the Elk's Lodge.

I'm not sure I can take listening to either of them for the next 10 months, let alone the next 4 or 8 years.

After 7, soon to be 8 years, of a president that can't manage his way around a simple sentence, let alone an entire paragraph, I'm ready for some soaring rhetoric.

Thank you for that, at least, Senator Obama!

Si se puede!

:applause:

1. I don't like the way Obama speaks either. something
to preacher-like.
I'm voting for Presidential skills anyway, not vocal skills.

8. That bothers me also. Thank you.
It reminds me too much that we're supposed to be electing a President, not Preacher-in-Chief.

15. Yeah, I roll my eyes internally
It's as tried, true and pat as Hillary's traditional style - neither do much for me - thankfully the issues they talk about are interesting.

2. You are kidding, right? Pseudo-preacher does it for you.

The kind that is turned on & off depending on the crowd.

Yeah. Thanks a lot Obama.

6. wow, ain't that the truth!
that hit me just yesterday...

Barack may have some of his own skeletons, I am sure, - they all do.
but his is a voice that is listenable. and yes it does present Hope, no matter what the naysayers say.

It's nice ot have a bit of hope, even for just a while. Maybe just a while is good enough to start the process of cleaning up all these stains that the Bushes and Clintons have spilled on America and the world.

9. Only when she goes floaty fuzzy
That's when I want to throw shit at her. When she's like she was in the debate, she's fine. Unfortunately she isn't like that often enough. But I don't think we'll have to worry about it because I don't think she'll have any more of an open White House than Bush does.
