Breaking: Joe Lieberman has quit MoveOn.org

In a surprising announcement, Joe Lieberman admitted that he's been a long member himself of MoveOn.org which has been one of the nation's most out-spoken organization against the war in Iraq while Senator Lieberman has been one of its most vocal proponents. "I've finally had enough of MoveOn.org. Their endorsement of Barack over Obama was the final straw for me," said Lieberman according to a Washington insider.

In an unrelated story, Lieberman -- who would welcome another shot at being in the VP role in a national campaign -- has indicated he would accept an offer from either Hillary Clinton or John McCain as he would bring the "independent" vote to either party.

Lieberman, apparently offended a lot of people when it was reported that he had been contacting both William Kennedy Smith and Michael Skakel for their endorsements in his effort for a VP slot in either of the two parties. "Everyone else has a Kennedy supporting them. Why should I be left out."
