Baxter Bulletin: Hillary "poised, articulate, informed and forceful"
Reviewing the debate performances of the two leading candidates, the Baxter Bulletin sees a decisive Hillary victory. Some nice words:



Clinton bests Obama in latest debate

Hillary Clinton did a better job than Barack Obama in their California debate Thursday night. She took command of the event and was poised, articulate, informed and forceful.

Obama, by contrast, seemed deferential and hesitant. As a result, she got more airtime and it was enough for her to display her competence and command of issues.

His best moment was in their exchange over the Iraq war. She voted for it. He opposed it before he was elected to the Senate and there's just no way she can win the argument with anti-war activists in the party.

But aside from that, Obama needed a little Red Bull in that water bottle. He has never been a great performer in these debates. On the stump, his oratory is soaring and moving but in his quest to offer thoughtful, correct answers to questions in television debates, he come off as halting and fumbling....

6. I can't believe Andrew's drivel is linked on DU.
Of all people to be used on a forum that is supposed to consist mostly of Democrats.
