5. bank deregulation grew under Clinton, he kept on Greenspan & the Tech Bubble
Edited on Fri Feb-01-08 11:06 AM by cryingshame
accounts for much of the "prosperity" which actually had the gap between rich/poor continue to grow.

He also continued Bush's government privatzation and media consolidation.

Clinton's crony at the DNC did NOTHING about election fraud.

18. Because he did a GREAT job 'cleaning' up FOR Poppy Bush on all the criminal matters
that were outstanding when he took office and throughout the 90s.

http://consortiumnews.com/2006/111106.html

The whole Bush gang should've been in jail by the end of 1994 with all the matters yet to be scrutinized on IranContra, Iraqgate, BCCI and CIA drugrunning. Instead the Dems were handing over the keys to Congress in Jan1995 and the keys to the WH in Jan2001.

Bush2 would have been IMPOSSIBLE if Clinton sided with the citizens' right to open government instead of siding with secrecy and privilege of the Bushes.

11. Unfortunately Obama in the general election would mean
breaking the cycle with Pres. McCain or Pres. Romney.

I love Obama as an orator and love the passion that he has brought to a party that has too long been without but there is no way that this country will vote for a man who, if he served two terms, will be the first time he has ever finished a term in office (before seeking another office) or for the first time has kept a job for 8 years. The presidency is not a training position, but the VP will give him exposure and experience that will position him to be the best possible president farther down the line.

13. That's the Neo-Con, Neo-Lib Reacharound...
... I'll scratch yours (ignore your crimes), you scratch mine (ignore mine).

Rinse hand and repeat, with the cycles of statutes of limitations lapsing within two terms in most cases.
