The odds are really stacked against HC now for the debate.
Edited on Wed Jan-30-08 11:27 PM by jasmine621
All the Dem big wigs seem to be endorsing her, and many top Dem women. The media is clearly trashing her and giving Obama a pass on almost everything.

In tomorrow's debate, Hillary will be in a "no win" situation. If she strongly supports her ideas and presents differences in her positions from Obama or criticizes his positions, she will be accused of being "divisive" attacking, nasty, polarizing. If she doesn't come out strongly, she will be said to be "phony" "pandering" and "non-Presidential." If she comes down hard on the Bush administration, she will be accused of being Republican-lite, unable to bring the country together, a polarizing candidate who can't work with all opposite. If she makes mincemeat out of Obama as we know she can, she will be accused of playing the race card or being disrespectful to a black male candidate. The media will once again tell everyone what to think about Hillary Clinton.

4. You can't be serious...you Hillary supporters have a serious complex!
Looking from the outside, all I see is a Hillary love-fest 24/7, except for Tweety who loves her half the time and hates her the other half. It is so obvious that the pundits want her to be the nominee. But her supporters suffer a serious persecution complex. It's the way the right wingers reacted if one negative word about Bush ever got through the constant barrage of war trumpeting and up-beat economic news...say just ONE negative thing out of 100 references and you're suddenly a hater. Sometimes even gods (or goddesses) deserve some crit.

6. Did you watch MSNBC and CNN tonight?
All I heard was Obama anti-spin and love for Clinton.

Dan Abrams went out of his way to spend his entire show leveraging
Clinton and practically calling the race for her!

Chris Matthews was all about the Clintons tonight.

Lou Dobbs did the same thing.

Plus, all I heard today from all of the media, is how Hillary's
pretty much got the nomination locked up...but Barack is still in it.

He's always positioned as the underdog. Always.

Are we talking about the same media?

n!

13. MSNBC's Dan Abrams was obsolutely disgusting tonight with his pro-Clinton cheerleading.
He has been in the clinton camp all along but tonight he was overly 'shrill and eye-lid batting' defending her 'cause'...

14. It was pathetic...
...all of that over-the-top outrage.

He made Clinton look like a victim, who needed to be rescued.

He was outer limits tonight.

8. "The media will once again tell everyone what to think about Hillary Clinton."
Are you implying that Democrats are too stupid to judge the candidates on the issues and make up their own mind? if not, then why care what the media says?

10. I think she'll do what she does best, discuss the issues and point out her experience
I hope Obama brings up the "bridge to the 20th century" thing because Hillary will clean up the floor w/ him.
