Hillary supporters actually make me pity Hillary.
I've never hidden my feelings or dislike for the Clinton's, but the Hillary supporters here on DU have actually started to make me pity her. Their attacks and methods make them look so desperate and pathetic, that it degrades Hillary in every possible way.

"Handjob Gate" is today's example. That is the official name I'm giving it, because Hillary supporters are practically masturbating over the fact that a photo makes it look as if Obama snubbed Hillary. They are actually cheerful at the prospect that their candidate was allegedly snubbed. The thought of slamming Obama makes them foam at their mouths. (We'll just ignore the fact that Obama didn't snub Hillary and neither made an effort to shake the other's hand. So if there was a snub at all it was mutual - but hey... no sense in letting facts get in the way of a good Obama bashing.)

Then there are little comments made by a Hillary supporter encouraging Hillary to use the "power of the feminine" on Senator Kennedy. In other words, attempt to seduce him in hopes of luring him away from Obama so he can endorse Hillary instead.

I cannot actually believe that a Hillary supporter wants her to degrade herself to get an endorsement. It is pathetic. It goes against everything Hillary stands for, but her supporters don't seem to care.

Then there is Bill Clinton - her own freaking husband, who effectively has marginalized her as a candidate. She's no longer Hillary for President - everyone now sees it as Bill & Hillary for President - with a focus on Bill before Hillary. Bill just couldn't control his ego in front of the camera. He had to go and make everything about him, and in turn marginalize the first serious woman candidate for President. It reinforced so many negative stereotypes about women. It was just flat out awful. Bill Clinton has effectively planted the seed in America's mind that this campaign isn't about Hillary - it's about Bill getting a third term through his wife.

And this is just a tip of the iceberg.

So in the end, I suppose her supporters have been successful in making me pity her, but not in a desirable way.

24. I don't think they are looking for the type of pity I am talking about.
When I say "pity" I mean it like this: Hillary has pretty much degraded herself in every possible way via her supporters. She sent Bill Clinton out to do her dirty work. When hard times came, she went to hide behind her man. Rather than deal with Obama directly, she had to have her husband do it. Is that how she'll handle negotiations with Russia? "Putin is mean to me, I don't like him. I need Bill!" - is that what she'll do? Bill has toned it down because it made her campaign look so bad, but he wouldn't have been out there so loud if he didn't have her approval.

Some of her supporters here on DU though, are just out right pathetic - I am sorry I have to say it, but it's true. I really couldn't believe the one who suggested that she should basically degrade herself by seducing Ted Kennedy. That was just gross and pathetic.

In the end, if you combine that with the race baiting, and the sheer gleefulness of some of her supporters here on DU over it. Wow. It really blows you away. It shows a sick and twisted type of desperation.

9. It is True even If I do not repeat it - your quarrel is with the photographer who said
he saw a snub and that the photo was of a snub.

But you are in luck - the media is still Obama territory - none of the Boston papers ran with the photo.

The fact of the matter is, she never made the effort to shake his hand. So how could he have snubbed her? From the looks of it, it doesn't even seem like she was going to shake Kennedy's hand until he reached down to shake hers - and of course, there are at least two documented instances of where she has snubbed Obama. So, on the chance that Obama did snub her... I fail to understand the outrage from the Hillary camp. If they truly believe that a snub is something so awful as they are making Handjob Gate to be - then why isn't Hillary condemned for doing it, not once but at least twice? You didn't see Obama supporters foaming at the mouth when Hillary did it. We rolled our eyes and moved on - Handjob Gate makes Hillary's campaign look desperate and pathetic.

Only Hitler is described in stronger, more negative terms than Hillary Clinton (with or without Bill).

No human being could possibly be as evil as we are being told Clinton is. There is nothing either of them do that is no analyzed in detail and found to be motivated by malice and woven into a conspiracy.

Before you try to pluck the splinter out of your neighbors' eye, take the board out of your own.

It has everything to do with her supporters. Come on, seriously. You do not think suggesting that Hillary should seduce Ted Kennedy so he'd change his mind - you don't think that's desperate and pathetic? What if he would only agree if she fucked him? Should she do that, too? It is sick and some folks here need to get hold of themselves. If Obama wins the nomination their heads are going to implode.

As a woman, I'm not going to delude myself that hordes of men are hanging off of every word that the women on the view are saying.

Get REAL! I don't know the survey results but I believe that it's safe to claim that the vast majority of Americans who choose to regularly watch "The View" are women.

Now feel free to quote me the survey results but I don't think this stereotype is either offensive nor inaccurate.

I cannot actually believe that a Obama supporter wants him to degrade GLBT people to get an endorsement. It is pathetic. It goes against everything Obama supposedly stands for, but his supporters don't seem to care.
I assume that since you have a rainbow flag as your avatar you have a very clear and concise knowledge of the choices Obama has made so when you say
"I find it funny that the poster got offended when I was pretty much saying Hillary got a raw deal with the type of people she's attracted to her campaign. It's not like what I posted is untrue." maybe she's just trying to have a "dialogue" with them and "teach" them even though she disagrees with them.
Do you feel like you "got a raw deal with the type of people" Obama has attracted to his campaign?
And if I my be allowed to include myself as a member of "everyone" your statement that "everyone now sees it as Bill & Hillary for President - with a focus on Bill before Hillary" is untrue.
