Keep Bashing Bill.........
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/trey-ellis/keep-bashing-bill-to-reta_b_83639.html

The Democratic Presidential race is pure politics between consenting adults and the barbs traded on all sides have been well within the norm of contemporary politicking and positively tea-party genteel compared to past elections in our nation's history. As James Carville put it, they're not campaigning for commencement speaker at Williams College. Bill Clinton plays hardball because winning politics is hardball.

I mean, have Democrats forgotten how absolutely tepid and passive we have been on a national stage ever since Bill left office? Have Democrats forgotten that since him we have always lost and if the war in Iraq hadn't capsized the Bush presidency Democrats would be about as relevant to modern day governing as the Whigs?

Folks who called his aggressive boosterism for his wife "Rovian" do so because they genuinely love Obama and take it personally when he's criticized. That type of adoration is wonderful and admirable and inspiring, but it can also smack of a cult of personality that can easily cloud the hardboiled rational

1. The Clintons only fight for the Clintons
When are some of these people going to figure it out. The reason The Democrats have been "tepid and passive" is because Hillary has been yammering "stay the course" and Bill has been giving Bush a pass on things like the yellowcake lies and saying how much he liked him the rest of the time. The Clintons have never fought the right directly about anything.

5. Ah, so your opinion is that Bill has been hitting Bush hard throughout
Bush's Presidency then?

Well, why didn't you say so?

17. Bingo.
the politically entitled class. By that virtue that are sealed to the status quo and the old guard.

The old guard needs to go away. They do not win.

4. This guy has the ability to see the big pic, something many lack
Bill knows the drill and has said publicly that if Obama wins the nomination he will fight tirelessly to get him in the White House. We Democrats need to remember that. We need Bill healthy for the coming fight and need to remember that taking him down early is the Republicans' best hope at retaining the White House.

12. Puuuuulease.
Taking Bill Clinton down is the republican's best hope?

Can you say "last decade's news?"

If Hillary doesn't end up with the nom Bill be wholly irrelevant to the November contest. He'll be off golfing with Poppy in Japan and nobody will even notice or care.

26. Well, apparently your mileage varies. "Puuuuulease" and all.
And that little ROFL character.

We'll see.

I think Clinton will help if his wife is not the nominee--I think both of them will. Bill may not leap through his own asshole, given the unfair crap he took over his Jesse Jackson comments (and curiously, Jackson wasn't "offended" but that's not getting much if any play http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/01/28/jackson-not-upset-by-clinton-remarks/?hp ) but he's a pro.

He doesn't let politics cause him to behave childishly or petulantly, and that is a strong suit.

6. It is going to be hard for the mediawhores to keep this race
issue in the headlines since HRC will be the only voice of her campaign. All these smartass talking heads did not or have not seen the campaign shift that happened Saturday night....But once the truth begins to filter out about exactly how the media whores were in the bag for Obama in South Carolina and someone comes forward and spills it then Obama will be tarnished just like I have always seen him as....an empty suit....

oh and to let you know there are reporters that actually believe in freedom of the press here is a lil quote and take it you obama folks cause more of this will be coming:

"The evidence-free bias against the Clintons in the media borders on mental illness.
If you try to be fair to the Clintons, if you try to be objective, if you try to ask,
'Where's the evidence of racism in the Clinton campaign?'
you're accused of being a naïve shill for the Clintons... I really think it's a problem."

I agree where is the evidence? There is none other then what the mediawhores were fed by the obama camp. There is no evidence that the Clintons are racists, but the whore media says there is - and some Democrats believe them. What a shame...

I agree. If you are voting based on the 50 state strategy Edwards should be your candidate.

10. Perhaps Obama isn't the kumbaiya singing hippie the Clinton's think he is
He has the "tough, seasoned" Clinton team on the defensive big time. He's been able to get the media to see things his way.

I think he's perfectly capable of playing "hardball". I think the Clinton's underestimated how capable a campaigner this guy is.

I think so far he has outslicked slick Willie.

at the airports too?

The hatred toward Bill AND Hillary here is almost manic. It's so strange.

22. WE NEED HIS LEGACY
this is the worst thing about this campaign. We need the Clinton legacy no matter who the nominee is because he is the most recent Democratic president who has a positive image in office. Jimmy Carter's term from 1977-1981 is hardly anything to brag about to most Americans. We need a good Democratic president legacy to show America the good in a Democrat in office, and Obama needs to cut out the Bill Clinton bashing, as do his race card holding surrogates
