I am not an Obama supporter (I prefer Edwards) But..
I have a friend who is married to a Limbaugh Republican.(He will vote republican no matter what)She has told me that she plans to vote for Obama if he is the nominee.(She won't vote for Clinton)

I have another friend Cherie who has a disability http://youtube.com/watch?v=_WzgPcPDmOE (her singing at my best friends 40th b-day).
She will vote for for the Dem whoever it is..She knows a staunch Republican couple who get this!!..Are switching parties to vote for this man!..As a matter of fact they are taking her to see Obama tomorrow night!
Obama is not my first choice but I am intrigued by this phenomena.

Kudos or flame this.. I really don't give a fuc_.
I am stating a point to ponder.

1. I know several people who
would rather vote for Bloomberg than Hillary if she won the nomination

4. Don't underestimate the emotional vote who will vote against their own interests
because of a good story.

That is how the (R)s got the middle class to follow against their own economic interests and without question the last 28 years. Promises of ending abortion and "saving" family values by banning gay marriage while sending their constituents to the poorhouse.

This country is in a fight for its economic life right now as it is careening toward another guilded age. Hoping for Change isn't going to fix it.

5. Hey ..I live in Missouri..I'm voting Edwards on super tuesday
He is a good man.
I was just posting my thoughts.
And if you think about it..most people do vote their emotions.
I just want the emotions to fall on the dem side..Even if I'm pissed at the dems sometimes

6. This phenomenon reminds me of the Reagan Revolution
and look where that got this country and the working people here. We were totally hosed.

8. But...What if the Revolution wasn't a Reagan one?
I see your point and you are correct.
I am just saying that any dem on the ticket now is better than Reagan.

7. Obama is a candidate that can still appeal to people who disagree with his policy

And that can be a very powerful thing.

9. Now that scares me.
I would not support any candidate who is not working in my best interests, and I would strongly caution others from supporting that kind of candidate either. No thanks.
