It's true. I have long argued that making news like this is a strength of a candidate that is sometimes mistakenly factored into what mess the media has devolved into.
Candidates are covered when they do things that are noteworthy. Those who do it best get the most coverage. It's a skill that candidates are learn in if they are mentored or if they take candidate training classes.
Truthfully, having a primary in and of itself helps. It would be difficult if we did not have one and Republicans did.
