I don't watch the evening news. I think she earned a lot of enmity here for the "some say" cancer interview with the Edwardses.

Talk about sexism! Now she's a serious broadcaster and everyone turns her off. It's STILL hard to be a woman in this world! We have a lot of disadvantages and that's ONE reason I'm voting for Hillary. I want a strong woman in the white house to represent ALL woman and prove we can be TOUGH and caring and emotional too. Dammit! Maybe Katie is developing some empathy for Hillary. :shrug:

4. I am feminist to my core and have no problem giving Couric

a chance, a second look, etc. But, she did NOT earn the position, but used the "cute, bubbly, fuzzy" stereotypical "feminine wiles" to get the spot over women colleagues who had done the very hard journalistic work, but were, perhaps a bit less "cutesy" --or (to the male cronies at CBS) far more threatening to the status quo.

She clearly seems to resent her colleagues who have managed to be successful without falling back on those gimmicks, which put women back in terms of career advancement and acceptance for decades. This has come out not infrequently in the youtube and other leaked video of her "real personna"...

I'll take a look at Katie. Haven't watched her since I thought she was a Bushbot...but maybe she's been enlightened like the rest of the world. Who can defend that monster anymore? I'll gladly give her a second chance... especially since no one else seems to support or defend Clinton. Damn, now even KO seems to have jumped on the band wagon. :cry:

God, I just had a horrible thought. Suppose Keith gave a Special Comment against the Clintons and a rave for Obama. I guess I'd just have to listen to music for the next couple months.
