John McCain favors amnesty for illegal immigrants
And cheap exploitative labor that will drive down wages and benefits for American workers.

1. McCain wants to close Gitmo and bring "residents" to the Kansas City, Missouri
area.

The majority of Kansas and Missouri voters probably don't know this yet. If they did, McCain loses votes here.

Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas, is where Gitmo residents are going to be placed, says McCain.

Ft. Leavenworth is just a hair outside of the major metropolitan area that is Kansas City, Missouri and its Kansas and Missouri burbs. This could heighten the possibility of terrorism in Kansas City -- which is a big, bright blue beacon in the midst of a sea of red, I might add.

2. This is a huge negative on top of his already high negatives with
GOP voters. Many consider him more a liberal than anything, and his involvement in CFR, amnesty, gang of 14, and of course being the only republican member of the Keating 5 doesn't help (for those who remember). Personally I consider him a globalist.

Of course, he does attract independents. Clinton/McCain in the election will probably bring voters to him just to vote against the clintons, but obama/mccain might see notable absenses among republicans in november.
