Reading all this Obama this, and Hillary that, and Edwards the other thing.
For a second, I thought I had mistakenly clicked on FreeRepublic - not DU.

I know - politics is ugly, take no prisoners win at all costs mentality.......but you guys are going over the top. Seriously. You're becoming what you hate.

Why aren't you attacking those who put your nation in this state in the first place? Why aren't you demanding any of these delegates some real answers about real issues facing americans today - increased poverty, rising inflation, and lack of universal health care. Gods - yours is the richest nation in the world - poverty should be nonexistant - and yet not one person dare utter a single complaint that you are spending all your treasure on a unwinnable war. Not one person here has called any of the delegates to task to CUT PENTAGON FUNDING. Your deficit is skyrocketing, the world markets are in an uproar, and you are facing a deep dark looming recession....and nobody dares say one word on what the war on terror has cost in economic terms - not just today, but tommorrow, next month and in the next decade, facing your children and theirs. Nobody says anything about the abhorrent increase in defense spending - considering what it has gotten you - less favorability worldwide, a collapsing dollar and utter lack of trust as a world leader.

Instead, I read how Obama said this - and Hillary triangulated to make it sound like that....and who is "most electable." I read how Obama sucks, Hillary ducks and Edwards is lame.

Come on people. Pull it together. Attack those who richly deserve it. You have three fine delegates. And you should be proud of them. Each one has his/her own talents. But, and this is the real important point - the more you bicker, spout petty MSM spinpoints, the more "they" win. They being the group that got you into this mess in the first place. They are distracting you from the real crucial issues facing America today. Those are the issues you should be talking about.

I think at least 30% of the people are here to intentionally tear everything apart (and hope it continues outside DU).
