Edwards didn't run a single TV or Radio Commercial in Nevada...He knew....
it wasn't worth it.

On both CBS and CNN it was stated that Edwards didn't run any ads in Nevada. But, he's outspending both Hillary and Obama (so far) in SC.

He's using his money wisely.

1. Thank you. I didn't really have a clear idea about what he had done
in Nevada other than visit a couple of times -- to support the people who were working for him, to keep the campaign structure that was in place steady for the general election.

2. Sounds like he took a page out of the ...
Kucinich playbook. Lessee, he didn't spend much time/effort in the state(NV)and he didn't spend much money on ads and other media releases...and his supporters are crying that he doesn't get any media attention.

Something wrong with this picture isn't there?

3. I have to agree.
In order to be visible, to get the all-important media attention, he has to advertise. And he doesn't have the money to do it with, because he cut himself off from funding. Being true to one's ideals is all well and good, but there comes a point when I'd rather see someone accept "dirty money" in order to change the world for the better, than sink into obscurity with their "ideals" intact. Make no mistake, I love JE. I just think he made the wrong choice - to some degree I can understand it, though not agree with it - and we're seeing the outcome now.

6. R-e-s-p-e-c-t --- we just can give each other too much respect, can we?
I, personally, am very frustrated with the level of attention Edwards has gotten nationwide. The amount he spends in one state should not have as extreme an effect on his national media attention as is evident.

Further, the fact that the candidates with the most money, spend the most with media outlets, who give them the most coverage isn't a system made in heaven -- it is the opposite.

There is a lot wrong with the picture right now, but the wrong isn't with Edwards supporters who are frustrated with the money-driven, media-controlled public "conversation".

7. Smart man

He knew the Reid/Clinton machine would make sure they delivered, much easier to do in a caucus setting where dirty tricks and arm twisting would achieve the desired result.

South Carolina is a primary, where people vote in private and where arm twisting and voter suppression is harder to do.

8. You didn't get the memo. His ads didn't run because the media cabal suppressed them. nt
