Would Hillary govern more like a Man and Obama more like a Woman?
Edited on Sat Jan-19-08 12:16 PM by Quixote1818
I don't remember which Air America radio station I heard this on (think it was Thom Hartman) but he/she suggested that Clinton's management style was more in line with the way Men tend to govern and Obama's more diplomatic style was more in line with the way Women tend to handle problems and govern. So what I am thinking is that with Obama we actually get the first black president and the first president who will actually govern with the skills women more commonly display.

With Hillary we get another white, male president. No thanks!

2. insipid, sexist, irrelevant question
if she is elected she will govern like the person she is not some cardboard cutout stereotype painted by you or some talking head.

3. Hartman said it in a very diplomatic, honest way

He wasn't putting down Clinton at all just pointing out her management style. However, after I thought about what he said, it made me think if I really want that kind of management style again. My conclusion is that 'NO' I don't.

Listen to the way they talk in their speeches:

Obama says "We can do this together..."

While Clinton says "I can do this for you....."

My OP Sexist?

Just the opposite!

4. I'm not a Hillary supporter
but it would seem that to NOT vote for her because of some silly men/women leadership style baloney is the height of frivolous.

There are many good policy reasons not to vote for her. Stick to those.
