2. "New York elitists"--since when does being from New York make one an elitist?
As a native Pennsylvanian, does that make me "semi-elitist"?

3. you have a problem with New Yorkers?
I mean, it's not like our little city isn't the most important city in the world and basically the face of the entire country (the better parts of it), the hub of both entertainment, business and culture?

Would you prefer a panel with four people from Idaho?

9. for the actual filming of projects, yes
but the corporate headquarters for many -- if not all -- the major studios and networks is based in New York. So, LA/Hollywood actually get their marching orders from the suits in NYC.

16. Oh, boy! Regionalism!
Let's see,

All Southerners are dumb rubes.
All Californians are stoned-out hippies.
All Northeasterners are snobs or mobsters.
All Midwesterners are obese bible-thumpers.
All Westerners are ignorant cowboys.

Did I miss anyone?

(I almost forgot the :sarcasm:)
