This is my second donation. As a Senior on Social Security, you can imagine things get tough but I cannot survive any more Repub domination. None of us can. Please give whatever you can. Make a statement. We want no more baloney.

John Edwards is the only one whose words make me believe. The others sound like the "same old, same old"

Paypal allows you to give any amount, so if $25.00 is too much, there are options of any amount you choose. Go without a cup of coffee and give your coffee money to JE. A week without a "medium regular" is another $10.00 in John's campaign coffers.

Besides, it just feels good to try and out smart the others who think they have all the money, all the answers and all of the votes.

I sure hope we do this as a group for John! He's by far the most progressive candidate out of the remaining contenders, and he deserves more money than Ron Paul raised.

24. after the 2nd day or so I heard about this

I realized it was a grassroots effort. So, obviously the question begs to be answered, do you think the Edwards camp tried to help get the word out at all. I wrote them several days ago and asked them to please contact their supporters, their union endorsers, and other networking groups (ONE to stamp out hunger, for example) to encourage everyone to donate on Friday. I didn't hear anything back, nor have I heard anything about anyone being contacted.

I did what I could (and still am placing comments all over youtube political videos and cbsnews and abcnews stories) with a video, signs hanging up at the union board at my Teamster location at work where thousands walk by (not saying where I work but it's big) but I heard nothing from anyone but me. However, I'm THRILLED to see the efforts of dozens of DUers and those over at Kos to get the word out on this, and all the BIG donations of so many Edwards supporters. I hope we bring a huge feeling of support and encouragement to the Edwards campaign tonight and tomorrow. I hope it's at least 5 million, if not more!
