At least, for the first half hour that I watched.

I then switched to Leno where Bill Maher was the guest and he was hilarious.

3. Tweety is kissing ass after his brash comments...
Edited on Wed Jan-16-08 01:41 AM by TwoSparkles
...about Clinton in the run-up to NH. He made many
negative comments about the Clintons, their campaign
and he was really cocky about it.

He's definitely kissing some Clinton ass. He thought
they were history, but it turns out...not so much.

After NH, I happened to see Hillary hugging and giving
a kiss to Matthews at an event. I have a feeling that
they probably had words and he probably even apologized
to her.

I have to say...is Matthews the biggest suck-up pander bear
EVER????

I thought his anti-Clinton stuff was so extreme (and I'm no
fan of hers, for sure). He was manic. Now, his pro-Clinton
behavior is just as extreme. The man seems to have
absolutely no spine. He acts brashly, in a very extreme way,
but it doesn't seem sincere or grounded in anything but
serving himself.

I have really lost a lot of respect for him. I didn't have
much to begin with, so it's not too long of a trip--but the guy
comes off as an ass kisser with absolutely no center.

5. Good post. I don't trust him either. His only opinion can
apparently be shaped by who tells him what to say. This switcheroo is bizarre.

6. You would think that Matthews...
Edited on Wed Jan-16-08 01:51 AM by TwoSparkles
...would take a personal inventory and think about how he is coming
off to viewers.

He really looks imbalanced.

I watched a lot of news in the days after Iowa and leading into New Hampshire. I was
glued. I noticed so many members of the MSM giddy with glee, when they thought Hillary
was tanking and that this was going to be it for her. When the polls kept indicating
an Obama NH win, they not only wrote her off---they seemed relieved and happy about it.

Ok...as is pretty obvious, I'm no Hillary Clinton fan, but I couldn't help but watch
these dynamics play out and want to kick the asses of the MSM. They pandered to Hillary,
for the MONTHS leading up to the election---and constantly wrote favorable stories about her and
constantly threw her "inevitability" at us--while virtually ignoring the other candidates.

It appears, that they only pandered to her--because they thought she would win. They are
all a bunch of mindless, self-serving slobs. They cater to who they believe is going to win.

The day of the NH vote, they were all practically cackling at a Hillary loss. Gloria Borger was one of the WORST.
It appeared that all of this pent-up dislike for Hillary was finally being released when
they all thought she was a gonner--and it was safe to unleash their true disdain for her.

Now...they ass kiss. Especially Matthews. That stark differences in his behavior
make him look like Sybil!

Why don't they just do their damn jobs. It's not their jobs to ass kiss. They're supposed
to be objective and fair. They're all so imbalanced and they look like self-serving blowhards
who have sold their souls, just so they can be invited to the best cocktail parties.

8. I guess they're all like Scarborough: I'm not a Dem, I'm not a blahblah
blah. Except now, it's probably true. They are what they're told to be.
That's why Olbermann is so attractive, besides his attractiveness. He does try to tell the truth, but I do think he gets caught up in the hoopla. His analysis tomorrow might be interesting.

Tweety may be pitiable, but I'm afraid he hasn't yet hit low enough to desert.
