I've ever seen. Far worse than what Gebhardt did to Dean 4 years ago.

It was Clinton surrogates who introduced race and religion into this campaign. It was the Clinton campaign that sent out false emails about Obama's position on choice that had NARAL NH rebuking her in a letter. It was Clinton's campaign that harassed Obama volunteers at the polls, and drew a rebuke from the NH SoS. It's Clinton supporters who are suing out in NV and waited until 2 days after the CWU endorsed Obama to pull their little voter disenfranchisement trick. It was Clinton who lied and said Axelrod accused her of assassinating Bhutto.

Dishonesty and dirty tricks straight out of the repuke handbook .

I hope the voters see through this crap and take it out on her by voting for Obama, Edwards and Kucinich in MI, NV, SC and the Super Tuesday states.

Years and years of the Clinton shenanigans back in the White House? It's a repellent thought. I truly hope I don't have to vote for Madame Triangulater on November 4th. I'll need more than just a clothespin.

Axelrod went off on a diatribe and said that if Hillary had done things differently, then Bhutto would still be alive. It was "butterfly effect" science-fiction postulation, and as such was total fabrication. It was also vicious and disgusting; Benazir Bhutto hadn't been dead for two days when Barack Obama's campaign guy was out there blaming Hillary for her friend's death.

It was vile.

Paul Krugman, a major progressive of our time, gave an honest and intelligent critique of Barack Obama's health care plan. Obama's website didn't respond to the merits; they attacked the man, taking quotes out of context, twisting them, in order to suggest that Paul Krugman is a liar.

Barack Obama's followers carried this torch. I haven't seen such a frenzy of dishonesty since the original swiftboaters. And every bit of it was a lie.

Barack Obama has been running the exact same campaign that George W. Bush ran: talk about faith and hope, while allowing his surrogates to behave in the most vicious and dishonest manner possible.

I will plug my nose and vote for Obama, under certain circumstances -- but it's clear that he has run the dirtiest, most cynical, and hypocritical primary campaign of any Democrat in my lifetime.

Hardly. If anything, Obama's campaign (from what I've personally experienced through encounters with local Obama people and seen at the national level) is the most refreshingly above-board, well-organized and professional organization I've ever seen. Sure, primaries are very ugly things and mistakes have been made by all the candidates and/or surrogates. Obama supporters could just as easily cherrypick examples, as you did, to "prove" that Hillary's campaign is the dirtiest, sleaziest, etc. One that springs to my mind is the distortion they deliberately spread about Obama's present votes on abortion in the IL legislature. That was really shitty of them and they got slammed by Planned Parenthood and NARAL for doing it.

In a terrific CBC interview Maya Angelou was asked what her friends MLK and Stokely Carmicheal would think of her supporting Hillary over Obama, she didn't hesitate in her reply.

People I admire and people I don't have endorsed all the candidates. That's entirely their right and I have never once criticized any individual for choosing to endorse a candidate, or criticized any candidate who is endorsed by someone I have little regard for.

I don't like the way Clinton is running her campaign. It's that simple. I've said repeatedly that I'll vote for her if she's the candidate, and I can't imagine any circumstance that would change that, but Maya Angelou's endorsement means absolutely nothing to me one way or another.

weight on it. Fine. It doesn't have much importance to me. Surely you're not suggesting that because YOU think it's so important and indicative of how wonderful Hillary is, I have to agree with you? I make up my own mind about things and whether it's Maya Angelou or Dyson, I'm not influenced by it. I've long said that the only endorsements that truly mean a thing to me are the endorsements of my two Senators, Pat Leahy and Bernie Sanders. I value their politial judgment highly. Maya Angelou? Not so muh.
