The "Keith Number": Margin of error, plus percentage of undecideds
This, Keith Olbermann says on air, is a number to keep in mind when it comes to pre-election polls. "I thought of it," he says, "so I named it after myself."

Not a bad idea.

4. I posted my "hello," Rev., to the Group --
I usually watch KO's late edition, but today happened to have TV and computer in the same room for the early show. After I watch the late show, I read through the KO Group thread, enjoying the cleverness -- and snark!

5. there are other factors
for example, they compose the number based on their expectation of who will actually show up to vote.
if the composition of actual voters is different, the premise of the poll number is wrong
