11. But she WASNT the first.. jesus H Christ.
"Chisholm joined the Congressional Black Caucus in 1969, as one of its founding members. In 1972, she made a bid for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination, receiving 152 delegate votes, but ultimately losing the nomination to South Dakota Senator George McGovern. She did however make history by becoming both the first black person and the first woman to win the presidential primary by taking New Jersey with 66% of the vote."

4. not to be snarky, but it is Hillary
any other woman and, yeah, that would be a story.

But it's Hillary. People see her more of a politician who happens to be a woman, rather than woman politician.

Plus, it's not like she wasn't expected to win a primary. She's been the favorite for months, if not years.

8. How quickly we women forget. Congrats to the HRC for being a piece of
living history. Thank you for doing your part to shatter the highest glass ceiling of all. I may not vote for you but I will acknowledge your contribution and thank you for making this road more likely for my daughter to follow.

I wasn't born in 1972, but I love history.

And she's an incredible part of our great history.
