Politics 101: How to turn around a loss in 4 days
Day 1: Listen carefully to what your opponents say in a debate and determine what worked and what didn't

Day 2: Leak that your campaign is finished and you are out of money. This sets you up with lower expectations and nothing to lose, everything to gain.

Day 3: Incorporate focus group recommendations from Day 1 research into your schtick as if it was coming from your own soul and not a transcript from days prior

Day 4: Get weepy as an insurance plan -- play on the emotions

Day 4: Now that you are positioned as the underdog, expectations are lowered and you have the emotion insurance, pull a full frontal attack.

Election day: Announce that you are "realigning" your entire staff to save the nation from itself and skipping the next few primary states because you are broke.

Before anyone piles on -- I am not mocking -- I actually think that this was a BRILLIANT political strategy, and it worked.

5. You're so wrong.
That's not a 101 course. It's definitely 300 level.

6. Yes, it did. It was a brilliant strategy. Insincere and Phony. but Brilliant.
That's how it goes.

If that's what it takes to win, why expect the 'winner' to have your best interests at heart?

You do what you have to do, though.
