The media is pushing him out of the way. Is this going to become Hillary v. Obama the whole way through now?

12. Absolutley. If he's really sincere about taking on corporations
it would signal a new era in the USA. Same for Kucinich.

I'm not hearing the same passion from Obama.

5. All Edwards can hope for is to finish ahead of Richardson now.
Last month when I suggested that the MSM had made the race all about BO and HRC to the exclusion of all others, the Edwardians attacked me en mass. Sorry JohnnyNation, that you had to learn it the hard way.

6. It's in her own backyard this time
So I doubt it would be significant if she finishes ahead of Edwards in N.H. Now, if that happens in South Carolina it would be a whole different story.

8. Why Do People Keep Saying New Hampsire Is New York's Backyard
That's akin to saying Florida is Louisiana's backyard...

Demographically, they couldn't be more different...

14. Ridiculous. No political analyst considers NH in NY's
backyard. MA? Yeah? NY? Not even a little. You don't seem to know our region at all.

7. I don't think so.
I think Edwards will stay in. I do wonder though if they haven't cut a deal. Who knows?

9. I have always expected Edwards to come in third in NH.
Anyone who has seen the polls can see that. NH is Clinton's home turf and only an Iowa win would give someone enough to beat her there (Obama). John Edwards simply needs to do the best he can do there and continue the campaign in the next states.

10. I don't see how Edwards can win, but...
He says he's staying around for now. He can cause Hillary all kinds of problems if he hangs around.

11. It depends on how far behind Clinton he finishes
A close third won't be two bad, but is he is say behind her it will be hard to spin it as anything less than a huge defeat.

13. Hillary supporters then have ever right to go: HE FINISHED THIRD!!!!
The Edwards supporters, or at least a good chunk of them, were not particularly diplomatic about Iowa and deserve what they get.
